Start an inspection
Start Quick Check on Wi-Fi you are allowed to inspect. Allow Local Network permission for network discovery. Review the result and its stated coverage, then follow the visual guide. An incomplete check remains incomplete.
Understand what a result means
Network and Bluetooth responses are clues. A streaming response or reflection does not prove a camera, and no phone app can certify a room as clear. Isolated networks, offline devices and unsupported ports can be missed. Bluetooth signal is not distance or direction.
Use the camera tools
Lens viewing and infrared checks need a physical iPhone and camera permission. Try the optional remote-control test with the selected camera. Infrared sensitivity varies; many cameras emit no infrared. Sweep clips are silent and temporary. Export a clip before leaving the check if you want to keep it.
Keep notes and request help
Export records before deleting the app; notes do not sync to iCloud and are excluded from device backups. Describe the tool, iPhone model, iOS version and any visible error when requesting help. Do not send room addresses or sensitive photos unless necessary.
