Toontz — Privacy policy

About this policy

This policy describes how Toontz, provided by TMK Apps, uses information on its website and iPhone app. Existing policy revised September 12, 2026.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address and contact information when you provide them; technical usage information such as IP address, browser and operating system; and cookies or similar browsing information on the website.

Account and group features store the profile information you provide, favorites, preferences, messages and reports needed to run these features and address abuse. Apple or Google sign-in provides the information you authorize to identify your account. Apple lets you use a private relay email address. Apple authorization credentials are stored with protection so the connection can be managed and revoked.

If you enable iPhone notifications, we store an installation identifier, the token Apple provides and your preferences. We use them to send group messages and event reminders through Apple’s notification service.

iPhone app and advertising

The iPhone app uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure visits and actions such as filters, favorites and music playback without writing analytics cookies. Measurement can include technical information, pages, interactions and approximate location derived from the IP address. The app does not send your Toontz account identifier to Analytics. Google advertising features are disabled in the app and AdSense advertisements are not loaded.

Social videos open in an external service when you select a link, instead of embedding those services in the app. The destination has its own privacy policy. Hosting, maps and media delivery services receive technical information needed for requests, such as IP addresses. The app also uses Toontz sessions, security, preferences and recommendations.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the website and services, answer questions and requests, and send newsletters or updates if you opt in.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Providers support hosting, authentication, maps, media delivery, email, notifications and crash diagnosis. We may also share information with your consent, where required by law, or to protect our rights or property.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

Your rights and controls

You can request access, correction or deletion and opt out of marketing. Use “Delete my account” in the app’s Options or website menu to delete your account. This removes associated account data and revokes the Apple connection; shared groups and other people’s data remain. Turn off notifications in the app or iPhone Settings. Separate newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled through the link in each email.

To report content or a user, use “Report or block” in the group or email tmk@terosmk.com, the moderation contact. The team may review report information to respond to abuse.
