Show a countdown to your Shopify order cutoff.
An order placed before your daily cutoff may enter a different production window from one placed afterward. A countdown explains that boundary while the shopper is deciding, alongside the calculated dispatch date.
Tie the countdown to an actual studio deadline
Choose the cutoff your team can meet and set the store timezone. The countdown should reflect when your production day changes, rather than an arbitrary deadline created to pressure someone into buying.
Dispatchly combines that cutoff with lead time and working days. Review the displayed dispatch date on both sides of the cutoff, and check what happens when the next calendar day is not a working day.
Let the date carry the promise
A countdown on its own leaves a question: what changes when time runs out? Keep it with a dispatch message that explains when the product is expected to leave your studio.
Use the appearance settings to choose the wording, date format and a style that fits the product page. Minimal, Warm and Compact displays let you adjust the presentation without editing the theme code. A cutoff countdown does not reserve stock or create a delivery guarantee.
Before you finish
- Set the timezone before choosing a cutoff.
- Make the deadline match your production process.
- Check the date and countdown together on desktop and mobile.
Questions before you start
Is this a discount countdown?
No. The countdown communicates a daily production cutoff, not a sale or promotion.
Does it account for non-working days?
Dispatchly uses your configured working days, holidays and blackout dates. These settings are included in every plan.
